Our completed pond restoration and 230' stream water feature project.  A lot of careful planning and boulder placement went into making this feature just perfect.  The waterfall terminates into the client's newly restored pond.  Each Pennsylvania boulder in this feature was hand selected from the quarries for this one of a kind showstopper. Our client is extremely happy with the outcome!

This pond in St. Johns was plagued with excessive weed and algae growth.  Successive algae and herbicide treatments weren't enough to turn it around.   Mid-Michigan Ponds came in and performed a full scale clean out including pumping down the pond, tree clearing, reshaping, lowering the steep bank elevations and re-grading.  A swinging pole, dock posts and water level control structure were also installed.  The pond was stocked with perch, bluegill and bass and windmill aeration was added to provide oxygen for a healthy ecosystem.

This project consists of a clean out of an approx. 3/4 acre bay, on an 8 acre lake, shaping of beach point, construction of 125' water feature falls with a 25' vertical fall. This dynamic feature commences at a tranquil hilltop setting adjacent to the home. This feature boasts a large cold water Jacuzzi flanked by boulder outcroppings and waterfall. The falls meander into a trickling stream bed, complete with pudding stone pool and bridge crossing. As the falls progress down the winding hill, additional water meets-- rushing over the expansive bottom waterfall, cascading into the bay below.

HARBOR SPRINGS, MI. Design and construction of multiple falls as well as a specialized aeration system designed for trout. The system was designed to aerate the naturally colder water in the bottom layer of the pond without warming it up, thus providing trout with a necessary high level of dissolved oxygen (=>5PPM). The client's goal was to provide a trophy trout fishery and private oasis for it's members.
